Hello. Thank you for coming, formerly “ryansrally.org”

Thank you so much for all the love and support for Ryan Diviney.

Due to extremely high traffic to the previous site (www.ryansrally.org), we relocated to here. Over the next few days we will be working to make improvements, so you’ll likely see changes each time you visit.

My heart and prayers go out to you. My son was injured in a car accident in April, 2005 at the age of 30. He too had TBI, as well as the feeding tube, ventilator and trach with a year + of rehabilitation. I just want you to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel – the brain is amazing and with your sons youth coupled with his athletic training, he will continue to improve. There will be days when you will see improvement and the next day you will feel like you’re taking a step backward. Do not give up, it is a slow and often frustrating process. Our Drs. told us the brain is the slowest organ to heal. . but it can and it does. Five years later, he owns his own small business and has had three books published. Ironically, he had just received his MFA in visual arts with a concentration in photography and the accident left him with double vision and in a wheelchair (he also had a fractured pelvis). He learned to walk again with the use of his left leg only, using a walker. I’m telling you all this because I will never forget how I felt when I looked at my son – all the hopes and dreams that parents have for their children from the first time we lay eyes on them – seem shattered and lost; our world, as we knew it, had changed forever. Today, we count our blessings just to have him with us. Nothing else really matters. Ryan is very fortunate to have such wonderful parents and a loving sister. Stand by him – he IS in there fighting as you said and he will emerge. My prayers are with you all.

    Hello Divineys,

Glad you were able to get a new site up and running.
I’m feeling great hope for a healing for Ryan and
am happy you were able to find out what was going on
    with his eyes.

Just want you to know that we are still out here and
you have many who are sending out prayers and positive
energy that attracts more positive energy for you.

Keep up the good work and give Ryan and Kari a hug
for all of us out here cheering you on and standing
with you in faith. Don’t forget to do something special
for yourselves,(Ken and Sue), because you deserve it!

God bless and comfort you all.

  7. Patty HInson says:

I saw your story on the Today show and was so touched by your love, strength and support for Ryan. All of you are truly an inspiration. I will keep the entire family in my prayers.

  8. Frances Callen says:

I saved the Today show on my TV and just had a chance to watch your story. Ryan is so blessed to have such great parents and his sister by his side. You are truly an inspiration. Over ten years ago our daughter had an accident, crushed her scull, was in coma, had surgery to replace skull, etc. Friends, family, the power of prayer is what got us through. It was a miracle she made it through and has recovered. Your family is so strong and I will continue to think of you and pray that Ryan has a complete recovery.
