Photos Added

I added about a dozen or so photos to the gallery. Most were pre-attack. I wanted people to see Ryan as he should be, not as he is. Also, I tried to arrange the photos chronologically, from most recent to oldest.

Most pictures enlarge, if you click on them. I think I have it so the pictures will open in a separate window, but if not just use the back button on your browser to return to the gallery to view more.

You can get to the gallery via the menu, or by clicking here.

    Ken, Sue and Kari,
I feel compelled to tell you of my profound gratitude. You have given me a gift in the form of this website. My day feels incomplete if I have not checked on Ryan’s status. You have given everyone the gift of Ryan and the love of family. You have shared your strength, your moments of weakness and frustrations in a very open and honest forum and it is appreciated and admired by many. I am humbled by your struggles, encouraged by your victories and inspired by the love you have for one another. I laugh with you and I cry with you. Thank you for giving so much of yourselves to those you don’t even know and helping us in so many ways. Thank you for Ryan, he is truly a gift and loved by many.

Well…of course I feel like crying after seeing those beautiful pictures of Ryan. The one of you and Ryan in the Leesburg Haunted House is causing me to have a melt down…I guess because it’s you and Ryan — and it’s a moment captured in time of a Dad and his son having fun together. This is so hard. Thank you so much for putting these up. I did not know your family until after Ryan was injured. But I can say this, though — anyone who sits next to Ryan for just a few minutes can feel the love, and I am not kidding. It’s very strong, it’s like you can’t pull away. I bet his nurses and therapists would say the same thing. There is something very special about Ryan. I feel so blessed to know him, and your whole family. You guys are awesome ❤

I feel like those photos are albums on my shelf as I study each picture and imagine what life was like at every turn of events. I LOVE the go kart picture where Sue rises victorious. In his WVU shirt, Ryan has the most adorable expression and I can just imagine the teasing Ryan took on that family vacation. Hold on to those memories and keep focusing on Ryan’s healing. Look how much his health has improved since Day 1! I’m honored to be viewing these family photos and seeing how your house has been transformed, room by room, to the best rehab center ever for Ryan and your family. I pray that God will continue to give you the courage, faith, and endurance to be Ryan’s “physician.” In addition to the Divineys, there is a whole body of Christ reaching out to love you. I pray you’ll feel our hugs and hear our prayers.

Ken Thank you for all those pictures .I had seen some after I saw you On the Today show and went to some of the articles in the papers. I am so sorry for what your family has to endure because of those animals..But through the wonderful care given to Ryan ,he will heal..He’s a handsome young man and you all are in my thoughts and prayers everyday…Hope somehow you get a van to make it a little easier. God bless Gail
